v2.0 UIML
v1.0 |
These are three versions of the UIML specification: This is the latest draft specification, released in March of 2004. This is a modest refinement of the UIML 2.0 specification. We invite public comment on this specification. Please see the UIML 3.1 specification draft for details on how to contribute. This draft specification was released on 12 February 2002. This is a modest refinement
of the UIML 2.0 specification. The draft specification
was released on 17 January 2000. It was a major redesign of the UIML language,
compared to UIML 1.0. This specification was released in December 1997. A Java rendering engine* is available for application developers. The engine is available in two forms: (1) a self-extracting installation file with a pre-compiled executable and (2) source code. Please send comments to uiml-editor@uiml.org . ___________________ * A "rendering engine" is a program that interprets or compiles a UIML file to create the user interface using a particular programming language and user interface toolkit.
